Had a wonderful week in May , lovely hotel , fantastic family 5stars

This is our happy place.Been here 37 times,I think that says it all.Our 3rd visit this year hope to come back in October.

On my way home now from a lovely holiday really enjoyed are stay at hotel Zeus all the staff are very nice and friendly Nicholas made every single gest feel really welcome.nice clean rooms great pool pool bar and hotel bar atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again.

Our first visit,it won’t be Our last 5star service in a 2 star hotel family owned and run.Nothing is too much trouble always time for a chat,rooms clean and tidy although a little small,but adequate. Thanks to all.

Again were were unable to travel last year due to dreaded covid restrictions however we are booked in for this September and look forward to our delayed honeymoon/holiday time in your beautiful hotel and surroundings , counting down for some more amazing Greek sunshine, scenery food and company 😀

So sad we had our holiday/honeymoon cancelled for 9/9/20, however we plan to rebook for 2021 for our wedding in UK ?? and holiday/honeymoon in GREECE ?? , until then stay safe and well and we wish you good luck in this upcoming season.

I’ve never been to Greece before but coming here has made me want to never go back! It’s family run and all of the people are amazing and so friendly! I’ve never felt so wanted and welcome! So pleasant and kind and will do their best to please you! An amazing atmosphere and it’s clean and tidy and everything is kept on top of! Can not fault this place in the slightest! Highly recommend it to everyone and will be back again for deffo asap! Love this place x

We stayed at the zeus June 2014. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The pool pool bar reception and bar are lovely the family who run are fantastic and truly look after you. Thank you for making our stay great. Oh and the BBQ night was amazing and such a laugh

just back from another lovely but very quiet holiday at Zeus … for last few days was like being in a private villa as we were the only guests before the winter break … have already booked for next year so will see you all in June 2013.

we were here in september for the first time and we had a fantastic holiday. many thanks Zac, Maria, Manos, Nikalos, Sonia and the hard working [gardener] Grandad. you made our holiday one to remember, so much so we have just booked to return on the 1st september 2013,[could we have room 219 again please, its close to the bar, laugh] see you all next year, take care and have a happy christmas and new year. X

had our first but definitely not our last hol at the zeus this year. despite it being peak season and the hotel being full there were always sun beds with no towel booking needed. the whole family were wonderful nothing too much trouble and nikolas and manos were a true double act in the bar we have not laughed so much for years. special mention to sonya at the pool bar as well she is so friendly and efficient and the food was always good, the hotel itself was clean comfortable and the pool was always clean and well maintained. looking forward to next year there already only down side – we didn’t discover the zeus years ago !!!!

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday at the hotel Zeus we travelled alone for the first time ever and felt very safe in such lovely surroundings and the very friendly family made our holiday memorable. Our family joined us in the second week and all ages were happy and well catered for. We are now looking at booking for again next year.

Made a late booking to this hotel and found our paradise!!! Have been to many places in the world but this one is one of the tops!!!! A lovely family run hotel that treats you like you are one of them, cannot fault the place, will definitely be booking next year.

We didnt stay at the Zeus hotel but were there every night for drinks and shenanigans. We met some of the best people you can thing, and all staff were lovely, particularly Nicholos and Manos, who kept us amused for hours and made sure we got back safe. A big thank you for helping us out when we got stuck for a night too. Hope to see you all again soon!

I have just returned from my first all alone vacation and I have never felt less alone than during this past week. The very warm atmosphere,the entertainment made by Nicholas at the bar all night long with his gentle brother Manolis, the care the whole family take of guests needs made staying in this hotel,staying among friends. We just had such a wonderful time for 2 weeks at the Zeus, all our family of 4 were made so welcome and we had such a great time that we are booking direct to the hotel for October. Our second time here was as good if not better than the first. We will be back!!

we came to the zeus hotel at the beginning of season in may after visiting kefalos last summer and fell in love with it and then returned in june with my sister and her husband who have put this hotel at the top of their holiday list for next year. we hope to return again in september and am bringing mum this time. I cant wait. there is so much to see and do and the hotel is as good as any five star hotel for cleanliness and facilities except this one is more family friendly. see you all soon xxx

Just found the website and the memories have come flooding back. My wife and I first came to Zeus in 2000 and for the next 4 years came back again and again.
Maria, Zac and all the family were so friendly and welcoming and we loved staying in room 220 near all the ‘action’ so that we could go to sleep to the sound of people enjoying themselves.
We met some great friends who we had great times with as well. We’re longing to come back and will as soon as we can afford to. Maria – if you’re reading this we now have a beautiful son, who is nearly 1 year old and we’re looking forward to when we can bring him to meet you.

Hi we just returned today from our holidays at zeus hotel. the hotel was very pretty with palms and typical flowers and also very clean and we very much enjoyed our stay there. The family was very friendly and helpful. We would always come back to Zeus Hotel in another year.

We have been to Kefalos twice before and love it. Have walked past the Zeus in the evening, and can always hear music and laughter. Kefalos is the friendliest and most relaxing place we have ever been and the food is great.

We are arriving for our Honeymoon in the early hours of Sun 11th july for 2 weeks and cant wait, everyone we speak to says the Zeus is the best place to stay in Kefalos.

Well what can you say about this hotel? Have stayed here about 3 times and now, and would not consider staying anywhere else. The family who run the hotel are very welcoming and will do anything to make your stay the best you’ve ever had. Its very hard to think of anything negative about the place. Shall hopefully be back there is May!! Can’t wait !!

We had a thoroughly good time at Zeus. The guys behind the bar were extremely friendly. The rooms are extremely clean and adequate, however, a fridge or minibar would be ideal. We recommend room 107 as you have the shade in the morning and in the afternoon you have the sun on the balcony, perfect! The location was perfect being a nice leisurely walk to the harbour and tavernas. Kefalos is a beautiful part of the island and we are glad we went.

Jenny and me got back yesterday from an amazing holiday in this hotel. It was clean and tidy and still looked very knew. The family there was really friendly and helpful with my girlfriend being quite pregnant as well. We noticed in the reviews all about the breakfast which is true (there was coffee, orange juice, rolls with jam and butter) but when you can step out of the hotel and get a full english breakfast for 4 euros does it matter? We had and earthquake and power cut when we was there and unless it was mentioned we would of never noticed apart from the backup generator kicking in. It was perfect town to holiday in we found loads of nice hidden resturants serving amazing greek food. Overall this was a great choice of hotel which offered value for money and family run so was really nice and friendly. I would strongly reccommend !! Hi to all at Hotel Zeus

ZEUS HOTEL is FANTASTIC!

June-08 From the moment we arrived we were struck by how clean and tidy the hotel is. The Lounge/Bar area is very comfortable, the room was a good size and well layed out, the pool is superb! Probably the best located hotel in Kefalos being set back away from the main roads and farly private, little bit away from the main centre of bars/restaurants, but there is plenty of quality choice nearby and the Beach is a just a short walk away!

The Owners, Staff and Family were very nice and friendly! they layed on a Bbq/Greek night which was great fun!

We couldnt have wished for a better place!

RECOMMENDATIONS:

GOOD EATING
RAINBOW TAVERNA RESTAURANT : Is a must visit! Fantastic Food and Quality Service at a Good Price! along with the biggest size portions around. Mike and Ianis are very welcoming and entertaining. Try the BBQ Chicken!

MANOS – 24hrs : Great (gyros) Kebab and chips!

CAR/QUAD RENTAL
MANOLIS – very close to Zues Hotel.
Best Prices, no hidden costs – No extra insurances needed or deposits – No fuss!
Good Quality Service!

(We did get stung by two other firms)

SUPERMARKETS
Plenty of shops and do shop around, prices vary alot! Good one at the end of the lane that runs past Zues Hotel, nice afternoon walk.

THINGS TO DO
Visit ZIA! about 20-30 mins drive towards Kos town, Fantastic Mountain side taverns and shops.

Explore all the roads leading from and around Kefalos old village, you never know where they lead you but you’l enjoy the fantastic views and find the unexpected!

ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY! WE DID AND WE WILL BE BACK.

Myself, my partner John and his two kids stayed at the Zeus in July 07 and had a most wonderful time. We were struck by how clean the hotel was, probably the cleanest Ive ever stayed. The family were so friendly and helpful. it was fun trying out our Greek with them. I will never forget the delicious bowls of Greek yogurt and honey by the poolside. Perfect. But we would have liked to have a little more fro breakfast. I was touched by the way a roll was always put out for the sparrows every morning.
Anyway, thank you for such a lovely, friendly and clean hotel. I have definately recommended it to friends and colleagues.

Stayed at Zeus in early 90’s and had a fabulous time. Looking forward to coming back in June. make sure you stock up on the Metaxa 7*

Thanks to everyone at the Zeus for a wonderful holiday in August where I made a quicker recovery from a broken ankle than if I’d have stayed at home ! We had a wonderful time and have booked next August already so that we can do it again but without the crutches! can’t wait for the greek night so that I can dance this time. Gotback a week ago from Kefalos. Stayed at your hotel and firstly I must congratulate you on how clean you keep your hotel. It is by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed, anywhere. Amazing, and everyone always works so hard to keep it that way. Just want to say a huge thank you for makeing our stay so nice. We loved your greek night and quiz, although its a shame, we missed your dancing. All your family are so helpful and always smiling. it makes a big difference you know. We would certainly come and stay again and recommend you to friends. Can I make one tiny suggestion? greek yogurt and honey on the breakfast menu would be a winner. I loved the fact that a bread roll was put out on the counter for the sparrows every morning. I loved watching them come and go.

Myself and 6 mates stayed here in May 2006, its brilliant. Staff were really friendly and very helpful and the place was spotless.
Its quiet enough to chill out and close enough to Kademena(cab ride) for your big nights out.
The Sydney bar (more local) was another big hit.
